The Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky and Cora’s Cakery are teaming up for a month-long fundraiser to support Project RAMP.
Throughout September, Newport-based Cora’s Cakery will donate half of the proceeds from each cake jar sold to TANK’s Project RAMP, an initiative that provides financial assistance to registered RAMP users who struggle to afford transportation.
The bakery offers five flavors of cake jars: circus party, vanilla, double chocolate Oreo, Biscoff and lemon drop.
“Project RAMP plays a crucial role in ensuring that our community members facing financial challenges have reliable access to transportation,” TANK Marketing Manager Jenny Kammes said in a news release. “Every cake jar purchased brings us one step closer to breaking down these barriers.”
Orders can be placed online at corascakery.org. More information about Project RAMP is available at tankbus.org.
