The Bacon, Bourbon and Brew Festival, which has free admission, is happening this weekend in Newport.
“Bacon, Bourbon & Brew Festival is a mouthwatering celebration of three of America’s favorite indulgences – bacon, bourbon and craft beer,” according to the event’s website. “Held along the scenic Ohio River, this high-energy weekend features creative dishes where every bite includes bacon, bourbon or beer (and sometimes all three!).”
The family-friendly festival will take place from July 18 to July 20 at the Newport Festival Park along the Ohio River. Festivities include local vendors, live music, inflatable play spaces for the kids and exclusive tastings and presentations from Molly Wellman, an award-winning bourbon expert, author and cocktail historian.
