Beechwood High School Senior Louis Schlosser, who plans on attending Harvard in the fall, has been honored as the 2025 Jordan G. McFaull Memorial Scholarship recipient, an award he received at the district’s Senior Honors Night on May 21.

Created by the 2007 Beechwood High School class, the scholarship, valued at $2,000, honors seniors who’ve demonstrated academic excellence, a commitment to community service and volunteerism, and success in extracurricular activities.

“This year’s recipient not only meets the criteria of volunteerism, community service, and extracurricular involvement- they live it every day,” said scholarship board member Courtney Klingenberg in a press release. “Please join me in congratulating Louis Schlosser, whose voice, compassion and perseverance will no doubt continue to make a difference in college and far beyond!”

Schlosser plans to study computer science and hopes to go into the cybersecurity field. He will graduate with a 4.3 GPA. During his time at Beechwood, he’s participated in soccer and tennis, completed several advanced placement courses, was a National Speech & Debate Academic All-American, completed a cybersecurity internship with US Bank and performed 600 hours of community service.
