The death toll is continuing to rise after storms tore through southern Kentucky Friday and Saturday.
Various local institutions, organizations and churches in Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati are collecting donations to help the victims.

Visalia Baptist, First Baptist of Dayton and Cornerstone Christian
Three churches in the river cities will be collecting donations starting this weekend that will be sent to victims. They’re seeking the following items:
- Hygiene supplies
- Canned and other non-perishable food
- Tarps
- Monetary donations (including checks) and gift cards
- NO CLOTHES, PLEASE
Drop-off location and time information are below:
- Visalia Baptist Church on Vises Trail in Covington, Sundays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- First Baptist Church of Dayton on Dayton Avenue in Dayton, Sundays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- Cornerstone Christian Church on 8th Avenue in Dayton, Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Retired Interceptors of NKY
This is a community group comprised of owners of retired police interceptors who have contacts with fire departments in Laurel County. All donations will be distributed by Laurel County Fire Station 2. They’re collecting the following items:
- Tarps – any size
- Heavy-duty garbage bags
- Plastic totes & storage bins – with lids if possible
- Bottled water – cases
- Blankets
- Hygiene products
- Baby supplies
- First aid supplies
- Pre-packaged foods
They do not have a dedicated drop-off spot, but if you contact them directly, they will arrange a pickup time. Contact information is below:

Matthew 25: Ministries
Matthew 25: Ministries is currently accepting monetary donations online and at their Blue Ash facility located at 11083 Kenwood Road in Blue Ash, Ohio. They are requesting the following essential items for those affected:
- Cases of bottled water: 12 and 24 count
- Personal care products: Antibacterial soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, body wash, deodorant, lotion, etc.
- Cleaning supplies: Laundry detergents, general cleaner, sponges, bleach (powdered form is preferred), mops, scrub brushes, buckets, rubber gloves, etc.
- Paper products: Toilet paper, paper towels, etc.
- Baby and infant supplies: Diapers, wipes, diaper rash ointment, baby wash, baby shampoo, baby lotion, etc.
- First-aid items: Bandages, gauze, pads, first aid tape, antiseptic creams, hydrogen peroxide, alcohol, latex gloves, instant cold packs, etc.
- Candles and flashlights: If necessary, please include the appropriate size batteries with any flashlight donation
- Clean-up supplies: Protective eyewear, work gloves, trash bags etc.
The Hayden and Crue Project
The Hayden and Crue Project is collecting items at Bridge Logistics at 5 Circle Freeway Drive in West Chester, Ohio.
Donations must be received by Wednesday at 4 p.m. for delivery on Thursday morning.
The following items are most in demand:
- Diapers
- Baby wipes
- Water
- Canned goods
- Packaged food items
- Kids Clothes of all sizes and baby clothes of all sizes
- Men and women’s clothing of all sizes
- Dog food
- Towels
- Toiletries
- Empty new gas cans
Catholic Charities of Lexington
Many of the affected areas are within the Diocese of Lexington, and the Lexington branch of Catholic Charities will be offering long-term recovery and financial assistance to families. You can donate to their relief efforts here.
