Kenton County Public Works is returning its annual Trash for Cash program, which allows local nonprofits, churches and civic organizations to raise money by collecting trash along designated roads in the county.

“Trash for Cash invites groups to clean up designated roadways in Kenton County in exchange for $100 per mile cleaned,” according to a press release from the county. “This initiative not only helps keep Kenton County beautiful but also empowers local organizations by providing a unique fundraising opportunity.”

Qualifying organizations can applying now, and the program runs from April 1 to Sept. 30. Learn more at kentoncounty.org.
