Roughly 3,000 people in multiple counties are without power, according outage reports from Duke Energy.

An outage affecting about 1,300 people in areas of Kenton and Campbell counties was caused by an object coming into contact with power lines, according to Duke’s outage report. Power is expected to be restored to those customers around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

The second outage, which affects about 1,600 customers also in areas of Kenton and Campbell counties, does not yet have an established cause. Power is expected to be restored to those customers around 3:30 p.m on Tuesday.
