The Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, in coordination with the Federal Emergency Management Agency, is sending a team of employees to Asheville Regional Airport to relieve employees working around the clock after Hurricane Helene devastated the region.

CVG employees from their Airport Operations, Airfield Maintenance and Emergency Preparedness departments will be in Asheville Oct. 4-11. Currently, the Asheville Regional Airport is open and operational.

CVG employees will help Asheville Regional Airport workers return to their families after working around the clock for days. CVG employees will assist AVL’s teams with operational efficiency as multiple emergency aircraft fly in and out of the airport, according to a CVG press release.
