Monmouth St. Mercantile has opened in the former Baker’s Table Bakery location.
The woman-owned lifestyle boutique, according to its website, offers a curated collection of gifts and treasures to bring more enchantment into your everyday life. Wendy Braun and Tatum Davis own the shop.
The business received the Urban Revitalization Grant funding of $20,000 in September 2023.
The shop is located at 1001 Monmouth St. in Newport. It is open Wednesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
