Cold Spring Mayor Angelo Penque shared via Facebook the remaining tenants joining Publix at the Cold Spring Pointe Development.
Penque said Hobby Lobby, Marshalls, 5 Digits, and Five Below “are anticipated” to come to the city. In addition, Wawa and Outback Steakhouse have also “indicated interest” in the project and are expected to be announced by the developer soon.
“As your mayor, I realize that the developer has not been forthcoming with announcements, especially considering the Publix announcement without the courtesy of notifying the city in advance,” Penque said on the city’s Facebook page. “In as much, I have directed planning and zoning staff that if any prospective tenant contacts them, it will be shared by the city to ensure the public is aware of businesses interested in locating in Cold Spring.”
Cold Spring Pointe is a potential mixed-use development across from the city’s Meijer Shopping Center. Publix announced it would be coming to the city in April.
