The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources plans to host public information sessions on potential changes to state regulations governing boat docks and shoreline uses along publicly owned lakes in the commonwealth.

“Department officials are planning to recommend amending these permit regulations and will hold a series of public meetings to explain the current system and seek public input on potential changes,” according to an announcement from the department.

One such lake is Bullock Pen Lake, which straddles the Boone and Grant County line. The relevant meeting will also contain information related to Corinth and Kincaid Lakes in Grant County and Pendleton County, respectively.

The meeting is scheduled for Feb. 3, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Revive Church on Taft Highway in Dry Ridge.
