Support local businesses, dontate to a good cause and enjoy a delicious sweet treat all in one fundraiser.
Bust a Crust, an annual fundraiser for Meals on Wheels of Southwestern Ohio and Northern Kentucky runs through the whole month of November.
Participants can buy pie directly from participating restaurants which will donate a portion of sales to the non-profit, which delivers meals and support to seniors in need. Visit bustacrust.org for a list of participating restaurants.
“Bust a Crust! is more than a fundraiser, fostering community spirit and supporting the mission of Meals on Wheels Southwest Ohio & Northern Kentucky,” said Meals on Wheels in a recent press release. “Each year thousands of pies are distributed – one of the tastiest things about the whole operation is that every purchase provides meals and pies for seniors, too.”
Bulk orders for the program end on Nov. 10.
