Florence Police Department officer Austin Dupree recently completed basic training at the Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training facility, the Florence Police Department said.
Dupree completed a 20-week, 800-hour course of recruit-level instruction as a member of Class 541 and received physical fitness achievement recognition while in the academy.
Dupree is slated to begin the department’s 17-week field training program this week, police department officials said.
