Short answer: not many. At least, not many that anyone can go to. A lot of the pools still operating have membership requirements or residency restrictions.
Thankfully, though, there are still some facilities that offer day rates for members of the public. Check out some of the pools in the region where you can kick back and celebrate Labor Day, no matter who you are or where you live.
Florence Family Aquatic Center

One of the premier water recreation spots in the region, the Florence Family Aquatic Center will round out its summer season this Labor Day weekend. This place has everything: pools, water slides, diving boards and even a lazy river if you’re just looking to relax. Day pass prices vary by age–adults get in for $10.50 with admissions for kids and seniors costing $8.50. For more information, visit the city of Florence’s website.
Wilder Splash Pad
All right, all right, this one’s not quite a pool, but it’s still a fun place for kids to cool off and families to have a good time in the sun. Open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., the splash pad is also located near two sand volleyball courts, some tennis and pickleball courts, a concession stand, picnic shelters, a playground and a basketball court. So even if you don’t like to get wet, there’s sure to be something to do to celebrate the latter days of summer. Visit the City Wilder’s website for more information.
McKie Pool

One of two public pools still open in the city of Cincinnati for Labor Day, McKie Pool is only about a fifteen-minute drive north of the Ohio River. It’s cheap, too: $5 day passes for adults and $2 passes for kids. What’s more, you don’t need to be a Cincinnati or even an Ohio resident to get in. Labor Day hours are from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. For more information, visit the City of Cincinnati’s website.
Pleasant Ridge Pool
The other Cincinnati pool open for Labor Day, this one’s a little farther north than McKie Pool in Cincinnati’s Pleasant Ridge subdivision but still within reasonable driving distance. All the same admission rates and operating hours apply, but the facility’s floor plan is more open than that of McKie’s with a zero-depth wading pool and an attached splash pad. Visit the City of Cincinnati’s website for more details.
