Cobi Allgeier is the Florence Police Department’s newest recruit officer.
Allgeier is a Cooper High School graduate, previously served as a deputy jailer at the Boone County Jail, and will begin instruction at the Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training facility on Sept. 3, according to the Florence Police Department.
Allgeier was administered the oath by Florence City Clerk Melissa Kramer during the Florence City Council’s Aug. 22 session.
