The Boone County Fiscal Court is working to identify a contractor to complete all facets of the construction of desired water main lines in currently unserved areas of the county.
Officials indicated the Boone County Fiscal Court has partnered with the Boone County Water District and the DLZ Kentucky, Inc. design team to produce project construction documents that would extend water service throughout Boone County.
According to officials, the project involves installing approximately 12,567 linear feet of 8-inch water main and accessories, including labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the project.
The due date contractors to give their invitations to bid is July 26 at 2 p.m.
