Crestview Hills City Council members voted unanimously at a meeting Thursday evening to accept the transfer of two parcels of property on Shinkle Road from The Drees Company for $1.
“This was given to us,” said Alex Mattingly, Crestview Hills’ city administrator. “We have identified this as a small parcel of land, adjacent to Shinkle Road, and there’s a creek there. This could assist the city at some point in time — owning this piece of property if we ever have to do an abatement on that creek.”
Mattingly said the city doesn’t have any immediate plans for use of the land.
