The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will conduct overnight skid testing on I-71/75 and I-275 in Kenton County beginning Monday, June 5 at 9 p.m., according to a press release from the cabinet. The testing will require rolling roadblocks at various points along the roads.
Road blocks will occur on I-71/75 from the Fort Mitchell, Dixie Highway exit to the Brent Spence Bridge. Once the skid testing is completed on that road, crews will move to I-275 where they will perform tests from Turkeyfoot Road to the Wilder exit on KY 9. Testing will occur in both directions on I-275.
Travelers moving through these areas should expect delays and plan accordingly.
