Newport Central Catholic High School is hiring two positions for the upcoming school year.
The school is seeking a campus minister and theology teacher along with an additional English teacher to accommodate growing enrollment.
Campus minister and theology teacher:
Newport Central Catholic High School is seeking a full-time campus minister and theology teacher to help grow the faith within the school community, according to a press release. This new position will oversee all faith-based service planning and initiatives.
Responsibilities will also include teaching a part-time schedule of three to four daily religion classes. The position must be filled by a practicing Catholic and preferably a candidate with a religious certification or someone who is working toward basic certification.

English teacher:
Newport Central Catholic High School is seeking a full-time English teacher to join the teaching staff. This is a new position added to the English department to accommodate growing enrollment. Responsibilities will include teaching a full-time schedule made up of six daily classes, which include core and elective preps.
Candidates will preferably have a Kentucky Teaching Certificate in English or are working toward certification.
