The Kenton County Property Valuation Administrator, Darlene Plummer, along with members of the county’s PVA assessment team, will host several informational sessions at several locations throughout Kenton County in March and April.
The PVA office, which is responsible for determining the value of real estate property in Kenton County, is mandated by law to review PVA assessments for different cities within the county at least once every four years.
The meetings will feature general information about the PVA office, its job, the methods it uses to determine property values and ways citizens can contest the county’s valuation of their property.
The following cities will host informational session at the following dates, times and locations:
- Erlanger–March 30 at the Erlanger City Building on 505 Commonwealth Ave. from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Lakeside Park–April 11 at the Lakeside Park City Building on 9 Buttermilk Pike from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Elsmere–April 13 at the new Elsmere City Building on 3921 Dixie Hwy. from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Meetings for Ft. Mitchell and Park Hills have already occurred. Resident of those cities who missed the meetings are welcome to attend one of the other meetings.
