The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) is hosting a group of volunteers at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Williamstown Saturday, Jan. 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. They will be removing wreaths from headstones at the cemetery at 205 Eibeck Lane, in Williamstown.

This event is part of a larger monthly local volunteer effort headed by DAV. The organization is interested in youth volunteers who can not only help local veterans but also earn hours to qualify for DAV Youth Scholarships.

Youth volunteers are still needed for the Saturday event.
