Mackenzie and Paige Logistics LLC unveiled their new Florence headquarters to the public at a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday.

The woman-owned logistics brokerage company invested $4 million in the project, which will create 210 full time jobs and at least 120 jobs for Kentucky residents. Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear congratulated M&P Friday on their job creation and growth.

“The grand opening of M&P Logistics’ headquarters is contributing to the growing momentum in Kentucky’s distribution and logistics sector,” Beshear said. “This homegrown and woman-owned Kentucky company is expanding and creating quality jobs for the residents of Florence, and I want to thank M&P for continuing to put roots down in the commonwealth.”

Started in 2011, M&P rapidly expanded across Kentucky, and has also added offices in Florida and California. Inc. magazine recognized M&P as one of the fasted growing privately owned companies in the United States by including them in their Inc. 5000 list.

In August, the company outlined an aggressive growth plan that included the acquisition of a 26,000-square-foot building at 7900 Tanners Gate Lane in Florence. New sales, operations, administrative and management jobs were created at the location. Prior to the project, the company employed 30 people at their Boone County office.

“It’s undoubtedly been an incredible year for all of us here at M&P, and we’re delighted to officially open our doors and move into the new year with true momentum,” said Kimberly Hall, founder and CEO of M&P Logistics.

Boone County Judge/Executive Gary Moore acknowledged M&P’s growth and success, as well as their continued investment into the county.

“M&P is an inspiring, locally founded, family-run company that has a strong history of success in Northern Kentucky,” Moore said. “Congratulations to Kim and Steve Hall on the grand opening of their new 26,000-square-foot headquarters.”

Northern Kentucky Tri-ED CEO Lee Crume noted that logistics management and consulting is a high-growth industry in the region.

Since December 2019, companies within the logistics sector have announced more than 7,300 full-time Kentucky-resident jobs with $2.1 billion in private-sector investment into the commonwealth. Companies such as Amazon, DHL and TQL are a significant provider of jobs within the region, showcasing the importance of the logistics sector to the Northern Kentucky economy.

“Northern Kentucky offers access to more than half of the U.S. population within a day’s drive and a significant talent pool with logistics expertise,” Crume said. “M&P is an excellent example of a company creating good-paying career opportunities in the logistics management and consultant sector.”
