It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Northern Kentucky. Well, sort of.

This weekend brings the first real instance of freezing weather to NKY this season. And if you’re surprised that it might snow in the same week it was 70 degrees and sunny I ask, are you new here?

Saturday morning has a slight chance of snow before 10 a.m., with little to no accumulation, per the National Weather Service. Rain will take over and continue until around 3 p.m.

Prepare to bundle up as the weekend continues, because Saturday night into Sunday morning is expected to have a low of 28 degrees leading into a clear sunny Sunday with highs in the 40s and lows in the 20s.

The 10- day forecast predicts another possible bout of snow on Tuesday morning, which is expected to turn to rain in the afternoon. To look even further into the future, the Farmer’s Almanac predicts “tumultuous conditions” for our regions throughout the next few weeks leading into a chilly Thanksgiving weekend. “Unsettled weather” is then expected to roll into the region with snow developing into early December.
