A Florence woman faces charges of murder and first degree robbery following the August slaying of a man near a Covington bridge.
Latoya Dale, 31, was arrested on Thursday.
Covington Police said Tuesday that investigators connected Dale to the case using video from the area where the killing happened. Virgil Stewart, 60, was shot and killed near the 15th Street Bridge in Covington on Aug. 18.
Police said that Dale admitted to being at the scene of the killing but stated that an accomplice fired the gun. A small amount of money was taken from Stewart, police said.
Police also said that a second suspect has been identified but not yet charged. That person is already in jail on unrelated charges, police said.
Dale is being held on $1 million bond at the Kenton County Detention Center.
