Michele Fields is an incumbent candidate for the Erlanger City Council. There are 15 candidates running for nine spots on the council. Fields is currently serving her first term on council.
Fields has lived in the city for over 20 years and has raised three children there. She has a professional background in accounting and actually worked for the city in both the police and finance departments.
“Giving back to the community is important to me,” Fields said.
Fields pointed to road improvements, reducing city staff turnover and public safety as key campaign priorities.
“Often city government is pulled in multiple different directions and have to make
tough decision on where to put the city’s time and money,” said Fields. “I have not only lived in the city for over 20 years but have seen several issues our community face daily.”
She said she looked forward to talking with the residents about issues on their minds.
