Chris Herrmann is a candidate for the Erlanger City Council. He is one of 15 candidates running for a spot on the nine-person council.
Herrmann is among the younger candidates running in the region this year. He has not held public office before, but he has spoken in public meetings. Within the last year, he has spoken before the Erlanger City Council, advocating for the police to not inquire after people’s citizenship status, according to council meeting minutes.
“As a young person, I can offer a different perspective and bring ideas that can help Erlanger residents,” Herrmann said.
Hermann said that he wanted to make Erlanger more affordable for residents.
He also said, “I will work to make the city government more transparent and to improve the parks in Erlanger,” both of which are issues that other candidates have brought up to LINK nky.
