The Campbell County Board of Elections released its final candidate list, and no cities will see contested races.
The number of candidates for the Bellevue, Dayton, and Fort Thomas city councils and the Newport City Commission exceeded the number of seats; however, according to Campbell County Clerk Jim Luersen, there must be double plus one filing for the open seats to hold a primary.
The candidates will appear on the general election ballot in November.
