Pompilio’s on 11th Street in Newport took home gold in the Best of Taste awards in the dessert category for their chocolate and peanut butter cannoli.
Each year ahead of Taste of Cincinnati, judges taste the food that will be available at the festival to award winners in various categories. This year, Taste is scheduled for May 28-30 on 5th Street in downtown Cincinnati.
The Cheesecakery in Cincinnati’s Madisonville won silver in the dessert category for their salted caramel truffle cheesecake cupcake; Alfio’s Buon Cibo in Hyde Park received bronze for their chocolate caramel tiramisu.
