Tucked away on Washington Avenue in Newport sits the historic blues bar, Mansion Hill Tavern. The building was erected in 1875, and originally served as an Inn for railroad and steamboat workers traveling the Ohio river. Hailey Roden | LINK nky

Farther south in Florence sits the Blind Squirrel. This location is actually their second, with the first opening in Louisville in 2017. Hailey Roden | LINK nky 
Featuring both an indoor and outdoor space, Blind Squirrel guests can listen to live bands from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Thursdays, and 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. on Saturdays. Provided | Blind Squirrel 
Built inside a circa 1800’s church, the Southgate House Revival in Newport has open mic nights, live music and events of all sorts. Hailey Roden | LINK nky
