Fifty-five artists will come together on Newport’s Monmouth Street to display their artwork to local residents.
The Think Shop will host its eighth annual Think Square exhibition beginning Sept. 19, at 811 Monmouth St. in Newport.
The show will feature work from 55 local artists, each producing art in a 5-inch by 5-inch format. Pieces will be available for purchase online at thinksquareart.com starting the evening of the reception.
“Think Square has become a cherished tradition — a rare chance to see 50+ artists in one place, each bringing their own unique style to the 5” x 5” canvas,” Think Shop owner David Dalton said in a news release. “It’s a night where art, creativity, and community collide!”
The opening reception runs from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Sept. 19. Admission is free. The exhibition will remain open weekdays from Sept. 22 through Oct. 17, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All works will be available for sale.
