The Girl Scouts of Kentucky’s Wilderness Road have a new Northern Kentucky program center.
The organization celebrated the grand opening of the new facility in Erlanger on Saturday, May 16.
Until now, the closest office was in Lexington, so the new facility will serve as a central hub for the organization in Northern Kentucky.
“This new center represents more than a building,” reads a social media announcement from the Girl Scouts. “It’s a launchpad for leadership, innovation and opportunity for girls across Northern Kentucky.”
The campus aims to “bring outdoors into this urban camp so girls from all over can come here and experience a little slice of nature,” according to Taylor Jauregui, fundraising development manager at Girl Scouts of Kentucky’s Wilderness Road, in June, shortly after the buildings ground breaking.
