Bishop Brossart High School is expanding its annual support for St. Vincent de Paul of Northern Kentucky’s Santa Shop by including a 5K race at the Mustang Athletic Complex in Alexandria.

The event continues the school’s partnership with St. Vincent de Paul and highlights its “Charity First” motto. The race will start on the track and traverse through the school’s new athletic facilities.

The course was created by Will Davis, a fourth-grader at St. Mary’s who runs for the school’s cross-country team. Bishop Brossart student-athletes will assist in running the event.

There is no registration fee; participants are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy to support the Santa Shop.

School officials said local alumni who own small businesses donated race supplies and awards. Remaining funds will be used to purchase additional toys.
