MAMMOTH Music & Arts Festival announces headlining artists Fishbone and Cowboy Mouth for the multi-stage and multi-genre day-long festival.

These artists join Nashville’s Hogslop String Band, Kentucky’s Nat Myers and Cincinnati’s Electric Citizen, plus over thirty local, national, regional and international touring musicians for the second year of the festival in Newport.

“We are very pleased with this year’s musical line-up,” said Mammoth talent buyer and co-founder, Morrella Raleigh in a press release. “We have a great representation of our amazing local talent across musical genres, as well as some really terrific, high-energy headliners.”

The Mammoth Music & Arts Festival takes place on Oct. 5, on 6th Street, between Saratoga Street and York Street in Newport from noon to 8 p.m.

There will be three outdoor stages, two indoor stages at The Southgate House Revival, a kids zone, fine art vendors, and food and drink offerings from local Newport restaurants, Pompillios, Webb’s BBQ, Sis’s on Monmouth, Newport Pizza Co., New Riff Distilling, West Sixth Brewery, and More.

The event is free to attend and is open to everyone.

“Newport is proud to host the second annual MAMMOTH Music & Arts Festival on Oct. 5, a vibrant celebration of our city’s creative energy and community spirit,” said Newport City Manager John Hayden. “This event highlights the talent and passion that make Newport a cultural gem.”
