Flooding on I-71-I-75. Photo provided | Kenton County Public Library

Days of unending rain in Northern Kentucky have led to flooding across the region.

The Ohio River has crested at 60.7 feet, as of 1 p.m. Monday, according to the National Weather Service. Some Covington residents have been encouraged to leave their homes due to the rising floodwaters.

This isn’t the first time the region has flooded, and certainly won’t be the last.
