Newport is up for USA Today’s “10 Best” awards in the category “Best Historic Small Town.”
There are 20 nominees for Best Historic Small Town that have small populations of fewer than 25,000 people.
People can vote once daily until polls close on Monday, March 31, at noon. The winning small towns will be announced on Wednesday, April 9.
