Crestview Hills Town Center handed its annual farmer’s market over to the city three years ago. Since then, it has still been hosted at the town center, but this year, the city decided to host it at the city building.
“The farmer’s market originated over at the town center,” said city clerk Stacy Kellam. “They said, ‘Hey, would you like to do this?’ So, we said, ‘Yeah, we’ll give it a try.’ A lot of cities do farmer’s markets, so we decided to take it on.”
The farmer’s market will take place every Friday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. starting June 14 at the city building this year according to a press release from the city.
A total of nine vendors will be in attendance, including Scott Farm and Breadsmith of Cincinnati.
“I try to keep it relatively small,” said Kellam. “That way all of our vendors can have someone show up there ideally. All of our vendors tell us we have more people buy than just walk around.”
According to city administrator Alex Mattingly, vendors will be set up around the perimeter of the parking lot, and attendees will be provided with designated parking.
