For the past 10 years, Yelp has compiled a list of its most popular and highly rated restaurants according to its users, then creates a US top 100 restaurants list.
This year Newport’s Jot India Restaurant, located at 1709 C. Monmouth St., made the cut. Coming in at number 48 on the list.
Jot India serves a menu of classic dishes from Northern India.
“This relative newcomer to the Cincinnati suburbs treats fans from Northern Kentucky and southern Ohio to some of the best traditional dishes made with authentic recipes and the ability to choose the level of spiciness,” the Yelp article said.
Jot India was the only restaurant in the Greater Cincinnati Area to make the list. They have 91 five-star ratings out of 104 total reviews on Yelp.
The restaurant took to Facebook to thank customers for their support.
“We are excited to announce that Jot India has been named yelps top 100 places to eat at,” The Facebook post said. “This couldn’t have been possible without the love and support of our loyal customers. We want to personally thank all you for supporting us, and we look forward to your continued support in the years to come.”
