BLINK organizers are adding a new element to the event.

For the first time, the BLINK Parade, held on Oct. 13, will feature local torchbearers nominated by the community to walk in the parade, carrying illuminated LED torches designed for the event.

The theme for this year’s BLINK parade is “Together,” a combination of shared cultures and identities.

Who can be a torchbearer? 

  • BLINK organizers are looking for nominations for 10 to 15 torchbearers 
  • Anyone who resides in Cincinnati or Northern Kentucky
  • Accommodations will be made for those who cannot walk in the parade

  • Walk in the BLINK Parade on Oct. 13 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Carry an illuminated BLINK torch in the parade 
  • Be highlighted in the BLINK parade digital program
  • Be featured in social media and press stories leading up to BLINK

  • Sept. 5, nominations close
  • Sept. 14, nominees notified
  • Sept. 15, torchbearers announced
