For the third year in a row, Kentucky Girl Scout has partnered with American Homeland Title Agency to provide cookies at home closings — the latest purchase?
780 boxes of cookies.
The funds will help send girl scouts to camp.
“After contributing thousands of dollars to the Girl Scouts of Kentucky’s Wilderness Road (GSKWR) in 2020 and 2021, American Homeland Title Agency stepped up again with a purchase of 780 individual boxes of cookies,” a news release said. “American Homeland Title Agency, with offices in Northern Kentucky, Cincinnati and throughout Ohio, previously made significant cookie purchases funding GSKWR’s annual operating budget. This year, American Homeland Title Agency’s contribution will go towards financial assistance for local girls to attend Girl Scout Day Camp or the Resident Camp Program.”
American Homeland Title Agency gives cookies to clients at residential real estate closing transactions.
“Our Girl Scout cookie promotion has been very popular in the past several years and we enjoy giving back to our community in a big way,” Attorney and Partner John J. Yonas said. “This year we are thrilled to know that our cookie purchase will help girls attend camp, who may not otherwise be financially able to afford it.”

GSKWR’s Camp Programs encourage girls to explore their interests, make decisions, spend more time outdoors, and build leadership skills by providing them with a supportive, safe environment. Resident camp is offered to Girl Scouts who want to stay for consecutive days and nights. Registration for GSKWR’s Summer Resident Camp will open later this month.
Day camp is for Girl Scouts completing activities with their peers for a few hours a day. Further information about GSKWR Day Camp will be offered this spring. Activities offered at Girl Scout Camp range from archery, climbing, canoeing, and hiking and teaches girls to embrace their potential, explore new skills, and develop a strong sense of self.
In addition to the Girl Scout Camp program, the Girl Scout Cookie Financial Literacy Program helps Kentucky girls develop entrepreneurship skills and learn important online and offline business skills that set them up for success in life. Both the camp and cookie experiences leave a lifelong impact on Kentucky’s future female leaders.
