Beechwood Schools honor student state champions in speech and debate, track
The Beechwood Independent Schools Board of Education recognized student state champions at their meeting Monday night, including Alex Slone, a 7th grade student who is a state champion in the Kentucky High School Speech League in humorous interpretation, and a group of women’s indoor track athletes.

Inaugural KHSAA indoor state track and field meet nets several titles for NKY athletes
The inaugural KHSAA indoor state track and field meets took place over the weekend at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center in Louisville, with Covington Catholic taking home the Class AA boys title while Beechwood finished runner-up in Class A in both the boys and girls meet.
