Covington takes action to preserve blighted Duveneck House
The city of Covington has sued the owner of the Duveneck House to act as a conservator for the “blighted building”, which is the former home of renowned artist Frank Duveneck. The property’s owner has been given until the end of July to make repairs or begin making repairs.

Buena Vista Neighborhood clears Newport Historic Preservation Commission again
Newport’s Buena Vista Neighborhood was approved for a local historic district designation by the Newport Historic Preservation Commission after a nearly three-hour long and, at times, heated discussion. The item now has to pass the planning and zoning and city commissions.
