As winter arrives once again, the Holiday Hope Charity Drive is preparing to make its return in 2025 — marking the 8th annual edition. Organized by Executive Transportation, this yearly event supports families served by Henry Hosea House in Newport, KY offering a vital opportunity for community members to come together and help neighbors in need.
When & Where
The 2025 drive is scheduled for December 6, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 901 Monmouth Street, Newport, KY — in the same familiar location: the Superior Prosthetics lot, just across from Carabello Coffee.
What’s Being Collected
This year, donations of winter essentials and basic supplies remain the focus. Items being collected include:
- Sleeping bags (0-degree or winter-rated preferred)
- Coats and hoodies (all sizes)
- Hats, gloves, and warm socks
- Blankets and hooded sweatshirts
- Boots (children’s and adult sizes)
- Hand and foot warmers
- Footwear, backpacks, and other cold-weather gear
New for This Year: Free Photos With Santa
In addition to the free Carabello Coffee, hot chocolate and pastries, this year all donors will receive free photos with Santa during the event. Families, kids, and adults can enjoy a festive moment while making a meaningful contribution. This new addition brings a fun holiday spirit to the drive — and gives everyone one more reason to stop by, donate, and celebrate community together.

Why It Matters
For many families served by Hosea House, these donations do more than simply provide warmth — they bring comfort, dignity, and hope during difficult times. Hosea House works not only to feed people, but also to build a sense of community for individuals facing homelessness, isolation, or hardship.
Executive Transportation President Tammy Bravo said, “There are a lot of people who are unfortunately living on the street, so the sleeping bags and the gloves and the hats and the hand warmers and foot warmers are very important.”
How to Help — And Why We Need You
If you’re able, please consider donating any of the needed items during the event on December 6th. For those unable to attend in person, organizers will again offer an online Amazon wishlist option to contribute as well as drop-off locations at the Campbell County Sheriff’s office and Executive Transportation’s office. All donations go directly to supporting individuals and families in need, with distribution typically beginning within days of the drive.
Even small contributions can make a big difference — especially when combined with the generosity of our community. Together, we can help ensure people in Newport and Northern Kentucky have warmth, dignity, and hope this winter.
