The new location of Skyline Chili located on the corner of 5th Street and Philadelphia Street in Covington will open its doors on Monday at 10:30 a.m., according to a social media announcement from the restaurant.
The restaurant also has another older location on 3rd Street and Philadelphia Street, but that location will close for good on Saturday.

“For generations, we’ve had the honor of serving Northern Kentucky from the corner of 3rd and Philly,” reads another social media post from the restaurant. “As Kentucky’s very first Skyline Chili and the oldest Skyline in the state, this restaurant has been part of countless memories, traditions, celebrations and family meals.”
The building where the restaurant is moving to formerly housed a Frisch’s, which closed in 2024, one among many closures of that chain’s locations over the past couple of years.
