Another Northern Kentucky Frisch’s restaurant has closed — the second in the last seven days.

Located at 520 W. 5th Street, the Covington Frisch’s has permanently closed as of Sunday, according to a report for LINK nky media partner WCPO. The Covington location is no longer listed on Frisch’s official website.

Last Wednesday, LINK nky reported that the Frisch’s at 4016 Dixie Highway in Erlanger had also closed in addition to two other locations in Cincinnati.

Founded in 1939, Frisch’s is considered a Cincinnati area staple. At the moment, the franchise has approximately 80 locations across Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.

In 2015, the restaurant chain was acquired by Atlanta-based NRD Capital — a private equity fund that focuses on restaurant development.
