After eight years at its current storefront on Pike Street in Covington, Grainwell — a boutique home goods retailer that sells handcrafted goods — is moving locations.

Grainwell operates out of a storefront at 33 W. Pike St. in Covington. It also runs a woodshop at 316 W. Pike St. On Jan. 18, Grainwell is moving from its current spot and into a new storefront next door to its woodshop. The boutique made the announcement in a Facebook post.

“This smaller space will help us focus on what matters most: creating unique designs, custom gifts, and corporate projects,” read a portion of the post.

Moreover, the post detailed that the move would allow the business to streamline its operations.

Grainwell was founded in 2014 by sisters Michele Tibbs and Melyssa Kirn. The duo moved into their current space in 2017.
