A West Chester-based French toast restaurant is expanding into Northern Kentucky.
French Toast Heaven, a restaurant that specializes in comfort food like French toast and shrimp and grits, announced on Facebook that it was going to open a second location at 921 Monmouth St. in Newport.
French Toast Heaven is the brainchild of Executive Chef and Owner Kevin “Chef Maurice” Jordan set out to create a breakfast, brunch and lunch eatery with a “vacation-like feeling,” according to the business’s website. The restaurant’s flagship location is at 4877 Smith Road in West Chester, Ohio.
The storefront at 921 Monmouth St. was formerly occupied by Brick’s Catering Company, which has since relocated to Alexandria.
As of now, there is no set timeline for when the restaurant is set to open.
