The first HOMEARAMA Urban Edition is now open for tours in Newport’s Martin’s Gate, offering panoramic views of the Cincinnati skyline in an exciting new urban community. The show features various configurations of prospective completed homes in a variety of architectural styles and finishes. Prices start at $1 million.
HOMEARAMA 2023 is co-produced by the Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati and the Building Industry Association of Northern Kentucky. This is the first time the event has happened on the south side of the river.
As part of the celebration, Campbell County resident Dennis Keene, commissioner of Local Government for the Commonwealth of Kentucky, presented a proclamation from Gov. Andy Beshear celebrating HOMEARAMA for hosting this first-time event in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Keene remarked that while the governor regretted being unable to attend, he is a fan and supporter of the region.
“The governor loves coming up here,” Keene said. “He loves excitement. He loves seeing all the green spaces, loves the airport, Amazon, all things that’s going on up here. And this area is vital in the economic engine of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.”
Beshear did provide Keene with a statement:
“This event will encourage further development in Kentucky by showcasing the historic Newport business district and the surrounding Northern Kentucky area,” Beshear said in the statement. “Martin’s Gate is built in the hillside of Newport and is a developing urban neighborhood.”
For curious homebuyers stumped on how to design the layouts of their future home, a HOMEARAMA – Urban Edition Show Guide is available attendees to spur ideas and inspiration for their homes, as well as a branding tool for builders and industry professionals. The guide includes details and floor plans for each home, bios of the home builders, and a listing of vendors who participate in the building process.
Tickets are available for purchase now, and the event runs through Sunday, June 25, 2023.
While there is no free parking at the site, a free shuttle bus is available for attendees at 910 Lowell Street in Newport that will take visitors to and from the community.
