Newport-based Global Business Solutions announced the appointment of a new director of finance and operations, a newly added role that aims to support the business’ growth while keeping up with the increasing demand for their services.
Jay Shelton officially started in the role on Jan. 2.
Global Business Solutions is an integrated business technology solutions provider. They help a business’ efficiency by designing, installing, managing and integrating different technologies into targeted solutions for their clients.
Shelton comes to Global Business Solutions with more than 15 years of senior accounting and finance experience across different industries. Prior to joining Global Business Solutions, Shelton served as the Director of Finance for Brixey & Meyer Capital. Before that, he was the CFO for One Holland Corporation.
