A Cincinnati-based firm has acquired Leadercast and moved the company’s full-day annual event to Newport’s PromoWest Pavilion at Ovation from Fifth Third Arena.

The event features national speakers on a variety of topics around leadership and growth. This year’s cast of speakers includes LeVar Burton, who you may recognize from Star Trek or Reading Rainbow.

LC Group is in the process of relocating Leadercast’s headquarters from Atlanta to downtown Cincinnati.

“Our mission is to create leaders worth following,” said Joe Boyd, Leadercast CEO. “So many people in the world are leaders, they just need a little help in the morning to foster it better. Across the board, nonprofits, small business owners, Fortune 100s, coaches, athletes and government agencies, it’s an interesting broad spectrum of leaders.”

Leadercast 2022’s theme is “The One Thing” and is scheduled for May 4, 2022, at PromoWest Pavilion at Ovation. Boyd is focused on keeping the main Leadercast event in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky going forward.

“I’m committed to Cincinnati and the region,” Boyd said. “I think the region has a lot of key companies that are Fortune 100 that we can appeal to, centrally located, and I think there’s something going on in Cincinnati in a lot of different sectors. It’s a city, including Northern Kentucky, that’s growing and on a personal level, I just love being able to showcase it.”

In addition to Burton, this year’s event will feature author Angela Duckworth, aerospace engineer Diana Trujillo, former President of StubHub Sukhinder Singh Cassidy, and Boyd himself.

“There’s somebody there for everyone to connect with,” Boyd said. “These are some of the preeminent voices in leadership. For the audience to connect with these individuals, they are going to learn a lot of valuable lessons.”
