Caring Excellence and Linnemann Funeral Homes to host free “Caring & Planning with Excellence” community event in Boone County
BURLINGTON, Ky. — Two Northern Kentucky companies are partnering this November to help local families navigate some of the difficult decisions that can come with aging, changing care needs and planning for the future.
Caring Excellence Northern Kentucky and Linnemann Funeral Homes will present “Caring & Planning with Excellence,” a free community event on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at the Boone County Library Main Branch, 1786 Burlington Pike in Burlington.
The evening is designed to give families practical information before a crisis forces them to make important decisions quickly.
Representatives from Caring Excellence will discuss in-home care options that can help older adults remain safe, comfortable and independent at home, as well as when families may want to begin considering additional support. Linnemann Funeral Homes will provide information about funeral preplanning and decisions that families can make in advance.
“Families are often trying to figure all of this out while also caring for someone they love,” said Marcus O’Malley, Director of Caring Excellence Northern Kentucky. “Our hope is to give people useful information before they urgently need it. Planning ahead can give families more choices and allow them to spend more of their time being a son, daughter, spouse or friend rather than simply managing the next task.”
