BOONE COUNTY, KENTUCKY – SEPTEMBER 9, 2026:
Sunday, October 4th from Noon – 4pm and is the 3rd Annual Boone County KY Pride Festival at the Y’Alls Stadium in Florence – 7950 Freedom Way. The Boone County KY Pride Festival celebrates LGBTQ+ Boone County residents and creates a joyful, safe space for everyone, regardless of identity or background. All are welcome and this is an all-ages event.
Attendees can enter the festival with a free ticket and enjoy live entertainment, browsing vendors and community resources, family friendly activities, and the OneQuest Health Wellness Zone. Over 70 vendors and community organizations will be present, dozens of different entertainers will perform on two stages. Ballpark food will be available to purchase, as well as water and sodas.
The Boone County KY Pride Festival is during LGBTQ+ History Month, celebrated annually in October. To celebrate this locally, LGTBQ+ history and information will be available, including the Faulkner Morgan Archive, the Ohio Lesbian Archives, art from Josie at Ballyshannon Middle School, and a reading from Kentucky author Willie Carver.
Sponsors of the Festival include the Fairness Campaign, Farm Haven, Interact for Health, Just Fund KY, and Kentuckians for the Commonwealth. Additional support for volunteers is from the Kentucky Colonels Good Works Program and Schneider Electric.

The Boone County Pride Steering Team is a group of Boone County LGBTQ+ residents and allies, advocates, and pastors focused on creating a Boone County that is inclusive and fair for all neighbors who identify as LGBTQ+.
